As far as I know, these are the final negotiations, and then we can start. Negotiation 1: I suggest that airstrikes count against the 4000 point limit. What do you think? Negotiation 2: I suggest that light mortars do not count against the 4000 point limit, for two reasons: 1) light mortars are overpriced and possess very limited combat power; and 2) some light mortar units are built into certain formations (note that medium mortars built into certain formations would still have to be manually calculated), and this makes it very difficult to calculate exactly how many points are being spent on ‘artillery’, so simply ignoring light mortars greatly simplifies things. What do you think? Negotiation 3: I suggest that neither side be allowed to conduct a 'pre-game' bombardment (in other words, no bombardment can be ordered during deployment), and that bombardments can only be ordered starting on Turn 1 and later. A 'pre-game' bombardment ordered during deployment gives Player1 (in this case, the US Army) a big advantage. An alternative choice would be to allow smoke only during 'pre-game'. What do you think? Do you have any final negotiations to discuss besides these last three? We can get this game started immediately as soon as we finish these final negotiations. I have already cleared my save slot 003 to get ready for the game.
