Staggerwing -> Scenario/campaign question (6/12/2007 5:02:33 AM)

I'm eyeing this game for the near future (after I've finished chewing on Carriers at War)
but I would like to know if there are any Market/Garden scenarios or even perhaps a campaign.
Also, what are the 12 campaigns mentioned for West Front?

e_barkmann -> RE: Scenario/campaign question (6/12/2007 5:37:46 AM)

pretty sure there's an Irish Guards armoured Market Garden campaign, plus one or two stand alone MG scenarios.

cheers

There is also a scenario called "Hell's Highway" that covers the entire battle. It's huge!

You mean a user scenario, presumably? I can't see it in the game.

BTW, just tried the Market Garden Campaign and it seems bugged in some way, and won't run? Can anyone else confirm? If not will give more details later - need to go to work now!

Yup. The other campaigns give me this on clicking OK, which is as it should be

Selecting the Market Garden campaign initially gives me

And on trying to get back to the main menu, this

Then on exiting it's back to the desktop with the standard Windows error reporting box re. a problem with ad.exe.

Ah, that is an error of the campaign file being saved in the wrong directory. Make sure your files are being saved in the West Front folder.

Life was much simplier with my old PII 450Mhz 96mb RAM running Win98 on dialup.
