Just before my turn begins, I see a log of events that happened, I assume, during the other players' turn (e.g. player A steals some tech from player B). But the thing just stays there for something like a second, so sometimes its too fast to read everything.

Is there any way to get access to these messages after my turn begins?

Use the 'e' key to bring up a report of recent text messages. Also, you can increase your message delay in the preferences if you want more time to read the messages (or enough time to press the pause button).

Great! Maybe a list of hotkeys could be added to future manuals? (Is there a list somewhere?)
