I'm still learning the system (never played the original), so I haven't monkeyed around yet with the scenario editor.

For those of you who have, here's a question. There are two WWII naval events I've always wanted to game: the hunt for the Bismarck, and Doolittle's raid on Tokyo. Would the CAW system (and editor) be able to model these properly? (I understand the artwork would have to be created, which is not an issue as I love doing that stuff; I'm asking about the system/editor only.)

Thanks for any input.

I can't really answer that since I never played the earlier versions but if you have the skill to do the artwork then that would be very in demand for creating what if scenerios. Please feel free to add a completed Graf Zeppelin and a german what if [:D] . I always wanted to mess around with a what if which included the Kriegsmarine with carriers.

You could do both those scenarios with the CAW system, although for Doolittle we will need to implement the Strike Transfer functionality which allows bombers to deliberately return to a different base after a strike, which we intend to do.
