Editor Bug 1.806 and 1.804 (Full Version)

I've just edited a new ship class. Wpn1 had Facing '00- F'. After editing Wpn11 with Facing '05- A' and saving the data or clicking the button labelled 1 - 10, Wpn1 got Facing '05- A' and Wpn11 changed to Facing '00- F'! [X(] I tried several combinations to put the Facing of Wpn1 to 00- F and Facing of Wpn11 to 05- A, but to no avail.... [:@]

And there is a spelling error on the screen of the Locations General Attributes. Page One turned to Page Ones. Maybe there is more wrong than a simple spelling error....

Reinstalled WitP and patched up to level 1.804, same errors....

Alas, i only have very limited experience on the editor... [:(]

You might ask folks on the Scenario Design/Game Editor section. Or maybe someone else can chime in...

The editor is a separate application from the game. Yes they are bundled together on the initial install disk but they exist separately and are supported separately. I think the latest version of the editor is 6.0

So installing or reinstalling various versions of WITP will not impact the editor version has you have seen.

But if you don't have the latest version of the editor (6.0) we should be able to hunt down where you can get that from.

Actually it is the 6.0 version that has the bug with weapon slot in ship class and ship views. Best advice reinstall from original media that is pre editor 6.0 then copy the database editor from scen directory to a new location then update as required then copy and paste the original editor back into the scen directory and your done.

Note that there are two 6.0 versions floating around one is version 6.0 and the other is version 1.0 not to be confused with the original 1.0 version.

I used Editor 6.0, (and BigJ62 is right) that's the Editor with the bug! I got this version via Patch 1.804.
