firt I would apologyze for my abysmal ignorance

but

I just downloaded the "War in the Mediterranean" Mod version 1.2b from the great Spooky's fansite...

where and how can I install it properly [&:]

should I need of other tools or files [&:]

I renamed my pwhex.dat pacificpwhex.dat and i made backup folders Art and Scen called folders PacificArt and PacificScen in my game dir. I dont remember if i made any other thing.

Copy your "War In The Pacific" folder that is in your Matrix Games folder. Rename it then replace those file inside that folder with the WitM files.

To Supermarina: You can also find the main thread named "WITM Mod Released" in this forum. I remember put there some kind of instructions.

congratulation, great mod![&o]
finally I should... justify my nickname[:D][:D][:D]
I'm playing "solitaire" trying to test.

the first thing I noted is that (perhaps) the ports are too exposed to air bombing...
with cant z-1007 from Rodi I sunk or damaged ships in Alexandria, from malta in night bombings with wellingtons I'm able to sunk or disable 1 or 2 DE at night!
yes, when Malta is pounded by Axis airforce this not should happen but... the sensation that night bombing are too precise remains.

I'll be glad to help you in upgrading this mod... even if I should be teached how. For examle I should (with some time) be able to find the names of many italian commanders at sea (military or even merchant vessels)

Great! Every help is welcome.

Acording the night bombing, well, this is a feature of the original WITP engine, i think it's very small i can do to penalize this bombing. Normally, with a human oponent, is not so easy to do.
Remember anyway that this mod is for PBEM only. You can, of course, run it against the AI, but the "perfomance" of the computer will be very weird.
