In bad weather conditions, for example thunderstorms, to air units automatically rest or must I specifically stand them down?

Units on bombing and sweep missions may or may not launch due to the weather, but units on transport, search, recon and CAP missions will continue to perform their jobs, but most likely with more operational losses.
