TheOriginalOverlord -> UNREP Works??? (7/4/2007 1:16:37 PM)

3.8 states UNREP is fixed along with refueling.

I can't get it to work. Someone tell me how to do this....

What I do get is a ship hooking up to the AOE and IS able to transfer weapons however then it tries to "position for refuleing" then the message "lost position" comes up and its a never ending cycle that the player can't break..... a DD chasing the AOE around the whole game with those error messages every 2 minutes....

This was in ANW DB 2.0 and PDB.

Pick a ship....

I tried the China Sea 1987, tried hooking the CVN up to the Sacramento no dice.

I went back a created a scen with a two brit DDs (Bristol/County Class) and several different AOE/AOL/AEFS ships. Using both the ANW 2.0 and the PDB. Same results with both....no fuel transfer and the dreaded "lost position" bug. One GOOD thing was the Brit Fort Grange is a supply ship and CANNOT refuel.....she worked like a charm....you could get weapons and since it doesn't try to refuel you don't get the error and the rearming ship can then go merrily about its business...

Somebody show me a scen where they DO transfer fuel.

same here, thought it was DB related since some flags were not systematically assignated because they were not used in previous version.

cheers,

It's not DB related I've reported the issue through the AGSI Mantis system and I'll keep you advised of our progress as it happens.

I've been working on the HUD3 and the replenishment/refuelling system is having "issues" about transfering. I've found it can be "forced" into working by hitting the F5 key after your "receiver" starts to wander away. There's no guarantee that will work, and it's not doing what it should but you'll often get lucky when the two vessels are in close proximity.

Cheers

Darren
