Joey Chestnut, the great red, white and blue hope in the annual Fourth of July competition, broke his own world record by inhaling 66 hot dogs in 12 minutes - a staggering one every 10.9 seconds before a screaming crowd in Coney Island.

66 dogs, 1 every 10.9 seconds, I believe won the Yellow Belt.  BURP!

anarchyintheuk -> RE: Today's Great News... (7/5/2007 6:33:57 PM)

I was thinking a laxative scandal would be more likely. But congrats to him anyway.l

PRICELESS... My vote is that the "toughen up" the rules and make them eat 'em with mustard and relish... If this is what humanity has come to in it's search for fame and reccognition is it any wonder the apes stayed in the trees?

Akos Gergely -> RE: Today's Great News... (7/5/2007 11:19:20 PM)

Even consuming 12 hot dogs in 66 minutes would be more than enough for an avarage Joe :D

I'm sorry to admit that my appetite and I could probably manage that challenge..., with a couple of beers and some potato salad to go with it.
