Please forgive me, but Ive never played with a game like this before.
What is the term "subformation" [types] means in the game?
This means that its important that what kind of units do we have "grouped"?

When you see a unit in PT you normally have some pics in the unit info.
For example one for infantry and another for trucks.
That are the subformations
1. subformation the infantry
2. subformation the trucks

subformationtypes or sftypes (in the AT editor) are just the unit types like tanks, infantry.
All the stuff you can fill your subformations with.

When you create your unit and send troops in all troops that doesn´t belong to the same
subformation type will get a own subformation.

Lol, i´m a bad teacher [:D]

When you send trucks in a unit with only infantry you´ll have there a second subformation for the trucks.
If you send more riflemen into that unit they´ll be added to the existing riflemen.

These terms you have to learn especially when you want to use the editor for making own scenario´s.
But it´s not that hard. If i remember right Tom had the basic version of Barbarossa (AAR) ready one week
after he started with AT. But i think he´s a natural born scenario designer [:D]

Did i explain in a way you could follow ? I hope it at least. [:)]
