JWE -> OT, but I had to share (7/26/2007 10:24:12 PM)

Friend of mine, Maj. J. Faustini, USMC, sent me this. He thought it was funny and thought I would get a kick out of it. There's lots more and I stripped out the ops headers and the endorsements. Funny thing, a G5 civ tellin the Crotch how to do what they do. Can you hear my tears.

whippleofd -> RE: OT, but I had to share (7/27/2007 12:55:40 AM)

USN-2
Libya-0
T-Shirt also had a picture of a Flogger going down in flames.

I'd fly 1000 miles to smoke a camel
Very popular during DS

A popular one from the engineering department on the Tommy-T:
USS Truxtun - Where the shaft never stops. The Cheng actually let us wear them. Poor deluded guy.

Geeze am I dateing myself or what? [:D]

ChezDaJez -> RE: OT, but I had to share (7/27/2007 6:33:08 AM)

I used to have one that showed a nuclear explosion on the front with the caption, "Made in USA, Tested in Japan."

On the back read, "Watch out Russia, you're next!"

This was back in the 80's right in the midst of the Cold war. The Japanese were somewhat "sensitive" to us wearing them while deployed to Japan so they were banned.

My other favorite was my hat (which I like to wear around war protesters. It shows a P-3 heading away from a nuclear explosion with the caption, "Now it's Miller time!" I've gotten some "funny" reactions from peaceniks.

This one made my jaw drop:

A. "Islamic Religious Services Will Be Held at the Firing Range at
0800 Daily.

[:D]

Mark VII -> RE: OT, but I had to share (7/27/2007 5:19:41 PM)

I had a similar t-shirt with a B-52 flying at you with a mushroom cloud in the back ground also saying "its Miller time".

IUSS (ASW Network) T-Shirt - "In God We Trust, All Others We Track."

herwin -> RE: OT, but I had to share (7/27/2007 9:17:45 PM)

Word from elsewhere is that this is a fake...

dtravel -> RE: OT, but I had to share (7/27/2007 11:48:06 PM)

Picture of B-52 flying away from a nuclear fireball.  T-shirt caption was "SAC  When it absolutely, positively has to be there tonight."

JWE -> RE: OT, but I had to share (7/28/2007 12:03:50 AM)

Word from elsewhere? My how cryptic. You can tell it's bogus just from the header and the suntax, as anyone who has ever served, and has ever looked at an official communication, would immediately recognize. You don't need some secret elsewhere to tell you that. Besides, Jim is at Pendleton and would not likely be on the distribution for what is obviously masquerading as a CAPIRG communication.

He thought I would be amused; and I was. I thought I would share; and I did.

Who cares?
