Sorry if this question has been asked before, but I could not find an answer in the manual or here in the forum. If a stack is surrounded by enemy units or enemy controlled hexes, how long can it survive? Eg, AH units are in Lemberg. Russian units surround it. The Russians do not attack right away. Will the AH units suffer losses or losses to readiness?

Without supply, their readiness will quickly fall to 0.  Give it about a turn.  After that attack them and they won't put up much of a fight.
