Frenchy,
I asked this same question a few days ago and Jason said this bug will be fixed in the next patch 1.03 I assume. See the OOB Posible Error Thread.

In the mean time when the error comes up hold down your Return or Enter key and the several error messages will fly by quickly and then you will be able to see the units.
A workaround for now until the patch comes along.

Arkady -> RE: West Front : Organisation Editor Bug ? (8/6/2007 5:53:23 PM)

it is wrong layout for organisations oob or error in platoon oob files
as said by JP - it will be probably fixed in next patch (or patch after next patch [8D] )

The plane you are looking for is called an "Arty Spotter"

It is in the US OOB.

FrenchyUSMC -> Arty spotter in RS ? (8/12/2007 12:41:00 PM)

Hello Jason,

Ok i found it on the West Front Organisation editor... but it seems there is not "US Arty Spotter" in the Rising Sun Organisation editor... [8D] Am I'm wrong ?

And what about Arty Spotters for other nations in RS (Japan, Great Britain, Soviets) ?

Thanks [:)]

They'll be included at a later date. We thought we'd include them to test and see how they are received before including them in all three games.

Same as the ship units.

Ok Jason,

Thanks for your informations... about Arty Spotters and Ships.

On whatever was before Windows XP, using the Talonsoft CD, I was not able to access the French OOB for May and June 1940.  It didn't freeze; you just couldn't access it.  I was able to access the French OOB for September 1939 through April 1940.  I was just wondering what kind of system Valor was using.  I think there were only two new units for the French OOB for May and June 1940 -- AT guns and AA guns placed on trucks.  I don't know if that's still true with the Matrix Edition.
