I am unsure if this is mentioned in the manual or the forum but is desertion ever factored into the game? does it coincide with the causality after a battle or is it just not mentioned? If not, i think it would be an interesting addition in which the numbers of the desertion could increase as national will decreases and vis versa.

I think desertion is modeled in the advanced supply and march attrition rules.
