I was looking through Japanese bases for factories, seeing which is linked where and I came across something.

Does Toyohara produce engines at all?

I see it makes Mitsu's but I don't see how unless you routinely send over oil/supply/resources. It's not at all connected to the main land to get any of it by rail.

Just curious.

factories don't need oil and resources for production. They need HI points. So, if you have enough HI points in the pool, then answer is yes - Toyohara producing Mistus...

HI factories need to be connected (by rail) to the oil and resources required to produce Heavy Industry points. These points go into the pool and can be used by ANY factory ANYWHERE to produce the tanks/planes/engines/ships.

for example: In PzBs game the Home Islands are cut off from India, BUT the HI pts produced in India are magically used by factories in Japan to produce Reppus and Zekes.

The Japanese production system is sooooo versatile its unbelievable[X(][:D]
