Hi Nik.

Just a few quick questions if thats ok...

1) Would you recommend the b or standard versions of your mod? I understand japanese industry is altered but im not sure for the better!

2) Does your mod use Andrew Brown's Extended map and CHS?

3) I have Witp 1.804, would you recommend upgrading to 1.806 or does it not matter?

With my current game looking like it could be fubar due to the posted problems in the main witp forum your mod may be a viable alternative, especially the 42 one.

Many thanks,

Tom.

It really depends. the a version is designed to make upgrades to the Japanese air industry harder. If your of the opinion that the Japan player can too quickly and easily get 2nd generation aircraft into service then i'd recommend the a) version. I'm biased too though. [;)] I'd love some feedback on the a) version.

The CHS + Nikmod A2A uses the map i believe.

Yes, if using the old 8.0 Nikmod + CHS, then some fighter airgroups will suffer servicability issues. My apologies.

Hello Nik
I am beginning a game of WITP CHS 157 Version 2.08c

Has the durability problem been sorted out in this version.
I would like to play it to the bitter end.

Thanks a lot.

Matthew

Yes.

Make sure you have downloaded the most recent version from Andrew's website recently. I believe 2.08"c" is how he designated it. You can easily tell by examining the fighter DUR values. P-47 for example should have a value of around 54.
