Nighthawk12 -> Minour Glitch (9/2/2007 3:58:46 AM)

Playing a campaign, I have notice the C units tend to rout.

They have never been under fire, they are not observed, and yet they run because the enemy has hit a minefield that I have laid.
They are on the north side of my line, the enemy has hit the south side of my defences.

I could understand if they were the ones that were under a lot of fire, but when they are on the flank of my line that is not even under fire, it is a bit annoying.

Any suggestions, besides just live with it ??

Nighthawk12,

This is a known bug that has been around for years.  And it can affect units in any formations from B through H (at least H is as high as I've ever seen it).  There is no known workaround.  Just gotta live with it.

FlashfyreSP -> RE: Minour Glitch (9/2/2007 7:28:04 AM)

It'll eventually work itself out after a few battles.

In this case, C stands for cowards. [;)]

I hope it works out, as it has become a bit of a hassle.

consistanly having to spend rally points to keep them in their holes when they are
not even under fire. :(

Oh by the way JEB, the canadians don't normally run. . . ;)

Nighthawk12,

Here is the best workaround I know.  Only use formations B through H for secondary units like trucks and ammo, etc.  And use formations I through whatever for your primary combat units.  That way, when the bug bites you it won't hurt so bad.

Nighthawk12 -> RE: Minour Glitch (9/3/2007 8:56:07 PM)

The only problem with that, is that I only have 12 of those secondary units.
out of 201

Yes, I like the large battles.
