I purchased the subject games when they first came out and EF1 before them. I know there is/was an issue with DirectX over Dx6. How can I get to play these games on XP?

Can only agree with Chris.

Ran WF on win95/98 no problems. XP forget it. Matrix version works perfectly. Ok a few bugs but they were/are solved very fast.
Read earlier threads when everybody was waiting for the matrix version 95% of all users, (won't use the word players as this is no game we're playing. It's WAR!!!) experienced problems with XP.

Now it's lots of fairly happy people (just had my armour blown away) enjoying their battles, thanks to dedicated people at matrix.

Buy the game and you will not regret it.
