But the key detail was the free accommodations and being taught the language, and in a year, being allowed to gain citizenship. Some might consider the 6 months of dark wintery night a problem, but I LOVE WINTER. All I'd need is a comfy chair and a pile of romance novels, and I'd be ok. Lots of skiing, no heat waves. And Norway is like Canada maxed out (I'm a shameless socialist).
