TheHellPatrol -> Mark Walker's Lock n' Load and more... (9/12/2007 3:39:22 AM)

Just in case some of you thought it was discontinued, i thought i'd share with you that Lock n' Load has it's own website: www.locknloadgame.com
There are alot of cool games being released in the coming months aside from Band of Heroes expansions. Check out Totensonntag for example, a very elegant design of WW2 desert warfare...looks very cool[8D].

Where's the computer version of the game that was promised over two years ago?

Is it just me, or is the hobby shifting enthusiasm towards cardboard as of late ?

There's a "comfort factor" in it for me, besides, there are not alot of huge deep games out there that WAD[;)].

I've almost completely stopped playing computer games.  And now I pull out a board game when I want to play something.  It was just that I was sitting in front of my computer all day for work, and then to do it even more in the evening was getting a bit much.  Unplugged is the way to go, baby.

That's exactly how I'm feeling.....

There have been a few threads on board gaming, it just brought back my pre PC days and I fished them out the loft. I've decided to try and play The Hunt for Red October - try and get my daughter involved so she can play the Red October! [:D]

Also, there is a big scenario in it where "the balloon goes up" which is basically a naval/airforce slug fest in the Atlantic....give that a go.

Looking forward to the weekend between the Rugby!
