Dumnorix : I have never denied the immense amount of work you have poured in to your mod. It is truly impressive, honestly, and you have obviously poured your heart and soul in to it, and that is to be commended. My problem has never been with your mod.

My problem has always been with the fact that, while you constantly demand attention and respect for the hard work you have thrown in to development of your own mod, you derisively dismiss the work of everyone else as crap. They are also pouring THEIR OWN PERSONAL TIME in to their mod, the same as you are. Now, you don't like what they're doing, that's fine, but it does not change the fact they are still putting the work in. And it does not make it garbage to be tossed aside simply because you deem it so. Like I said, my problem has never been with your mod or the work you've put in, it's always been with the ridiculous attitude you constantly display towards anyone else involved in mod work.

Again, I suggest that, if you were to simply drop the ego and arrogance, you would probably find yourself and your work more readily accepted by more people.

Even tho I have only been active here for a short while, I can't help but to agree with what you're saying (and I guess it's exactly the point I'm trying to make a few post earlier) The moment I read about MOD's the first thing that really caught my attention was the offensive and agressive attitude of Dumnorix towards people who are involved in putting together projects other then his own.

Thank you Artic Blast and sorrowman.

I agree totally with you! Thatīs exactly the same what other members and i said to him in the german Feldzugschmiede Forum.

Perhaps your sentences will works in his head.

Perhaps he couldnīt like that projects from other people would have more success. Really donīt know but itīs not the first time that he shows these characteristics. The reasons for his reactions ... knows only he.

british exil -> RE: Another question - campaigns (12/2/2007 9:01:55 PM)

I think it's a shame that so many bad coments have been made here. It used to be so peaceful. The thing is there will always be people who are always ready to find something to complain about. Be it a mod,bug or patch.
It was nice in the past to open the JTCS forum and read of ideas, minor problems that other campaigners were only to willing to assist.
What's happened??? We shouldn't let a few unhappy people spoil our fun.

Let them rant or rave. They are the ones with the big ego problems. This is a gamer community not a medical practice.

Peace to all in the forum, but not on the battlefields.

Mathew

I agree with you, british...just wanted to say my bit, and as far as I'm concerned, that's that.
