Hello,
I was wondering if anyone could answer this question. Forgive me if it seems like a stupid one
but I don't have game yet. I plan on getting it when 2.0 comes out. I have used FBPRO98 for years
and most recently, Total Pro Football sim. My question is can I control more than 1 team on my own
machine? I'd like to beable to have up to 6 human teams & rest comp. teams on my machine.
FOF does not let you do this. My wife, brother & I all live in same place.
Please just answer the question without sarcasm. The people on Madden & HeadCoach/ FOF forums are jerks.
Thanks,
Scott[&o]

Yes you can [:)]

Yes, Maximum-Football lets you control all or none of the teams in your league.

Many consider controlling more than one team a form of cheating the game. I can only guess that is the reason that you were met with sarcasm on the other forums.

Great!

Just note that there is no additional cost to getting it now.

We have many FBPro veteran here. Some of the beta guys had Total Pro Football online leagues as well.

As Tbird stated, yes, you may have as many teams human controlled as you wish. You can sim all of the games, play all of the games, or just have the computer sim the games without human controlled teams and play the rest live.

It isn't a stupid question. I am sure other potential game purchasers have similar questions.

Well, I know some good people on Madden and FOF websites, but there are some people in every group that tend to be territorial and can become offensive. We try not to do that here.

Thank you for the question.

I see nothing wrong with controlling more than one team if its a solo league at home. I usually create playbooks, profiles, and plays.....then start the league rolling and enjoy watching games, and sometimes play games.

I did the same thing with FBPro96-98. Its a great feature of both games, to be able to create a football universe and watch it unfold, and even take part in it if you choose.

[:)] Thanks everyone for the nice responses. Cool news. Reason we need to have human control on more
than 1 team is that my wife, brother & I will all have teams in the league. All live in same place.
Everyone here is pretty cool. Whenever I would ask something at FOF or Madden, I would get so many
nasy & neg. answers back that I just stopped comming back. Looking forward to getting 2.0 version.
This looks like what I've been waiting for. I had your old CFL99 game David & liked that. I am really
impressed at how you keep doing patches & fixes for this games. Thanks for all your hard work.
