junk2drive -> Stop Error Crash from shortcut (9/28/2007 6:50:12 PM) I double clicked my JTCS shortcut like I normally do and my screen went black, my speakers made a short trill and the computer restarted. After that my desktop icons were moved about the screen. I received the MS popup that a stop error had occured and send a report to MS which I did. IE then opened with a MS webpage reporting the cause. A device driver problem with no remedy at this time. No device was named. XP Home SP2 full install

junk2drive -> RE: Stop Error Crash from shortcut (9/28/2007 7:12:03 PM) After the restart everything is normal. Played PBEM turns in WF and EF. I don't normally send those reports to MS if it is a game crash but this was a surprise. Interesting that it was a driver problem. I expect problems once in a while from leaving the computer going for a while without a restart/reboot. Not the case this time.
