I din't take the chance, I ordered my new computer with XP - I can always upgrade later if I think it is worth it - I'm waiting for version 1.3 of Vista - maybe they will work out a few thousand bugs by then.

WitP is a pretty basic game as far as technology goes. Nothing about it is anywhere near the cutting edge the real time games are on. I would expect it to run on any future version of Windows, as long as most older Windows programs will run on it. Whether Vista will run with Vista at this point is another question entirely. Bill

works great, super fast in Vista. i had XP before and just upgraded. The combat resolution is much faster, especially if you hit escape once duringthe recon air missions etc.

Force of circumstances rather than choice the other week led me to 'upgrade' from XP to Vista. Both the base and CHs with Andrew's maps have had no issue since.... thankfully. Roger
