fyi: David Winter, you are my hero.
[&o]

I just updated to the 2.1.8 and am pleased so far with the fixes. Now I'm off to draw up a bunch of short passing plays to increase completion % and reduce sacks.

PDS: I'm trying to create plays now and it is turning out to be very time consuming, because I can't draw a straight line to save my life in here. I just want to have a receiver run a 4yd quick out pattern. I know I can save routes to load and re-use, but after more than five minutes of just trying to make a single one right I'm ready to scream. It would be nice to have either 1) a snap to grid points option that can be turned on; Or 2) a way to preview what you are going to get when you click and release the mouse button. Say like, a lighter line so you can confirm you are about to make it straight, plus a number beside it saying 4.1 yards or 4.0 yards so you know the length... Yeah, I'm anal, but I plan to make 100-200 plays.

Snap to grid would be a good idea.

thanks
David

One can edit the points by clicking, holding, and moving them.

I just drop a quick point down and then come back and straighten it.

1. Click on receiver.
2. Click on the route button.
3. Click the general basics of the route out on the field.
4. Right click away from that player to deselect.
5. Click on the player to reselect the player and highlight his routes.
6. Click on any command point to edit it or assign commands.

I really like the length ruler idea.

You may not have noticed, but there is a ruler on the field. It is measured with yard marks.

It does take a little math to figure out though. [;)]
