Well we are off and running folks. And to paraphrase a well known line from Star Trek.... this is WITP, but not as we have known it. If it comes off, and if Hoplosternum can keep the work schedule he has begun then it looks like being a really good thing to be involved in. I have now traded more ideas and angles on the game with a bunch of fellow allies than i had done in a year of reading postings on here.

Cry havoc and let slip the dogs of war I say! (except some other guy said that first)

Sounds like a fun game. I really couldn't do justice as a Japanese cdr. or I would jump on the opportunity. And, been away a few days with a job in the Gulf of Mexico and that would annoy alot of players so I'll keep track of the game from the sidelines. Very cool stuff.

I don't know whether either side is going to do an AAR. Hopefully they will. Otherwise I may have to do one, but it will have to then be a bit 'behind' the game so I don't give anything away....
