Here is the folder with the player stuff and facemasks.

Also, im pretty sure the 'StadiumTurftype' field in the teams table is as follows:

0 Turf
1 Grass

The 'Field Size' field in the Leagues table is:
0 Arena(50yd Field)
1 US Pro
2 US Amateur
3 CFL

Sigh... I'm really trying to work this out with David. I know there's been like 7 people message me about this, and I don't mean to keep blowing you off. I am really appreciative of your offers, trust me! I feel bad that I haven't accepted any of them yet, but I am waiting to hear back from David. I really can't say more than that. I will let you guys know as soon as I know what's going on on his end.

JD

Hey JD....that was some fast work. I love seeing a college in my roster printout now. Gives the players a bit more of a background.

armyofone -> RE: Player Editor (11/3/2007 6:09:45 AM)

gotta boss.  Sorry, just appreciate your work.

garysorrell -> RE: Player Editor (11/3/2007 6:30:59 AM)

Just to confirm, you edit the players in the draft by selecting Free Agents in the 'Filter by Team' dropdown box of JDs utility.

I just reset the default USMFL league and started a draft. The players are all there, they are given 0 as a team ID which means they arent on a team. They are in the FAs/Draft Pool.

Is there a better way to distinguish between FA's or Rookies? I would love to add a seperate "Rookies" sorting option. My guess would be the "years pro" field. But, every league I have says "0" for that field. Every league I have is also a brand new league. Does every new league consider all players to have played "0 years"? And, if that's the case, should I add an option to change the number of years so people could make NFL rosters and stuff like that?

Anyway, any answers are good answers. Thanks!

JD

Hi.

JD, please check your PM's

A free agent is any player that is not on a league team currently, but has played at least one league game. [LeagueGamesPlayed] field > 0

A draft eligible player is not on a team currently and has 0 league games played.

This field is only advanced at the end of a season. So I would assume the leagues you have simply haven't completed a full season yet.

thanks
David

Okay, first, I Checked my PMs, and thanks David.

Second, I didn't even notice the games played field.  Duh.

And Third:
My verson 1.3 is turning out to be quite nice.  Unfotunately, I am busy now for the rest of the weekend.  I will be able to work on it some more on Monday.  I hope to know a LOT more about the game by then (aka: Own it ;) ).

Guys, this is a lot of fun.  I will keep releasing versions and you guys keep letting me know what you like/hate/want/NEED.

Have a good weekend guys! GO ILLINI!

JD

I have a few other requests when you have time.

Terrytfromneworleans -> RE: Player Editor (11/4/2007 7:08:38 AM)

Hi Jd,
First off let me say what a great job you did on this editor. I am working on a USFL league and this has helped me by leaps and bounds putting it together. However, I have a request, as you seem to be making a list for upcoming updates. Is it possible to not only export the player data in a .html or .csv file, but IMPORT it back. It would make things so much simpler for anyone doing a new league if they could export the player stuff to a .csv, copy all of the names, ht, wt, numbers, etc, to that .csv, then import it back to the database. I hope that is a good enough explanation of what I wanted.
