Silverbullet -> Adding plays to playbook (11/11/2007 2:22:14 AM)

I am using the Fun & Gun playbook and I am trying to add some Dime Defense plays to it.
I downloaded the dime defense folder but I am unable to get the plays into my playbook.
Help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Hi.

What do you mean by 'unable to get them in your playbook'? Are you getting an error?

Silverbullet -> RE: Adding plays to playbook (11/11/2007 2:29:03 AM)

I quess I mean I do not know how to get them in the playbook.
I have added plays before but the Dime defense plays do not show up on the "import play list".

Are all the plays and formations in the plays folder?

That is my problem they are not.
How do I get the dime defense formations and plays in the folder?
Thanks

rename the folder you downloaded to

playbook_export_Dime

drop the folder in the Matrix Games/Maximum Football directory.

Open your playbook in the Max utility and hit the 'Import Book' button

you should see the folder you renamed....select it and click 'Select'

they should be added

Thanks a million Gary.
It works.
I was putting the dimes plays in the games "plays" folder, and that is why it didn't work.
This game just gets better and better.

Glad it worked.
Anytime you download plays, you can just dump all the plays into a folder, name that folder playbook_export_whatever

whatever can be anything, as long as its preceeded by playbook_export_

Then, import into your playbook. Hitting the 'Import Book' button puts the plays in your plays folder for use in any playbook, and puts them in the playbook you imported them to.
