Good to see these games getting an upgrade and a new lease on life. Thanks, Matrix!

I've been playing these since their first release and over the years have kept a list of download sites. Here it is.....

1. Napoleonic Archive

http://nap.phxsim.com/downloads/

Here you can download Austerlitz, Ulm, Saalfeld, Gunzberg, Auerstadt, Jena, Marengo, Montebello, Eylau and Toulouse

If you check the Links page there, select Bolchartos File Front where you can download Vittoria, Laon, Craonne, Montmirail, Lutzen, Friedland and a few others.

I think most, if not all, of these scenarios were originally part of the NiR Project.

2. NIR Project

http://www.nir-project.com/index-c.htm

There's not much left there that appears downloadable (only the enabled links on the above page) and you need a password from Jean-Marie Barbier for the first map file.

3. Scenario Design Center

http://www.hist-sdc.com/

Many scenarios and add-on files for the Battleground series. The files are now stored at the GameSquad Download section

http://www.gamesquad.com/forums/downloads.php?do=cat&id=4

4. John Tiller's old scenario page

http://fly.hiwaay.net/~tiller/html/scenarios.html

This is a very old page, but I think the files are still downloadable. I think most, if not all, of these files are also on the GameSquad Download section.

5. American Civil War Cartography Office

http://www.acwgc.org/acwco/

Many Civil War battles... Belmont, Chancelorsville, Vicksburg, Fredericksburg, New Market and many others including a Mexican-American War add-on. This is also an older page and I spot-checked a few links and the files appear downloadable.

I spot checked these links and think they all work, but most are pretty old sites so things may be missing here and there.

Be aware that most of the add-on scenarios from these sites are PBEM type so there is no AI script.

That's all the sites I know of that still have content. Over the years there were more, some converted to the HPS series and some just went away. Who knows, with the Matrix upgrade maybe a few will return....

My thanks to all the folks that created and make available these add-ons.

Also, if you are interested in Waterloo, this site

http://www.mont-saint-jean.com/cent_jours/PagePrincipale.htm

is worth checking out.

Thanks, jdew! Are you aware of any sites at all with AOS content?

For AOS only this

http://www.wargamer.com/gamesdepot/search_game.asp

Here my add-on battles currently available to download at the ACW Cartography Office:

1st battle of Kernstown (1862):
http://www.acwgc.org/acwco/kernstown1.asp

1st battle of Winchester (1862):
http://www.acwgc.org/acwco/winchester1.asp

Champion Hill (1863)
http://www.acwgc.org/acwco/Champion_Hill_II.cfm

2nd Battle of Winchester (1863):
http://www.acwgc.org/acwco/winchester2.asp

Battle of Mansfield (Sabine Cross-Roads, 1864)
http://www.acwgc.org/acwco/Mansfield.cfm

2nd battle of Kernstown (1864):
http://www.acwgc.org/acwco/Kernstown_II.cfm

3rd Battle of Winchester (1864):
http://www.acwgc.org/acwco/winchester3.asp

...and the beta version of Vicksburg (1863 a work made together with David Kerns):
http://www.acwgc.org/acwco/vicksburg.asp

For the works above I accurately reproduced the graphics used in the orginal BG games; 1st Kernstown, 1st Winchester, Champion Hill, 2nd Winchester, 2nd Kernstown, 3rd Winchester and Vicksburg use the graphics of BG Antietam/Bull Run; Mansfield instead the graphics of BG Chickamauga.

great site .if only everything could be centralized this could take off.theres so much people could do if it was only supported by matrix. as a hps /bg owner i much prefer the bg style unless u play the 2d style .it looks like u can mod almost anything with the bg engine, oob, pdt, scenerios, units files ,and even make your own maps.it would be nice if people could get these mods on disk like an add-on. i think matrix should have done this before it was released. Looking back at my previous installations from Talonsoft I copied across the scenario folders and Units files and seem now to have access to :

Fredericksburg and Brices Cross Roads (Antietem game)

Dalton, Resaca, Kolbs Farm, Wilderness (Chickamauga)

Pea Ridge (Shiloh)

I get them by using the BG_Start and not the usual front end.

I have tried opening them all and moving a unit or 2 although not tried a full turn yet but looks promising so far
