Adraeth -> Napoleon In.....? (wishlist for next title) (11/16/2007 2:26:30 PM)

Hoping that Hussars Game will make other titles in the series "Napoleon in...." which one you will prefer?

-----

My choiche in order

1- Napoleon In Egypt
2- Napoleon in Prussia - Poland (Jena - Friedland)
3- Napoleon on the Danube (Austerlitz and Wagram)

SlickWilhelm -> RE: Napoleon In.....? (wishlist for next title) (11/16/2007 5:25:50 PM)

4. Napoleon in Russia

[8D]

From your list, I'd pick "Napoleon on the Danube"

Napoleon in Spain The complete lack of games covering this area is unforgivable. Given the various uprisings, the 1848/FL/NiT engine would be perfect.

I have to say, I'd also love to see Spain done.

You will be happy to hear that AGEOD's Napoleon's Campaigns has a 295 turn scenario of the campaign from 1808 on (1 turn = 1 week).

Cool! I haven't had a chance to play around with NC yet, but I'm looking forward to it.

2. Napoleon in Poland - no Jena needed, enough territory, movements, battles in the winter 1806-07 and then next spring up to Friedland.

4. Napoleon in Russia too - if the game is flexible enough to adapt from tiny Northern Italy to the vast Russia.

Jabba -> RE: Napoleon In.....? (wishlist for next title) (11/17/2007 12:20:30 AM)

Napoleon in Germany is a pretty obvious title. Could include 1813 and 1806. Maybe the Austrian campaigns too.

Samara -> RE: Napoleon In.....? (wishlist for next title) (11/17/2007 3:49:11 PM)

Napoleon in Egypte or Napoléon in Austria (Eckmul and Wagram) for me.

ravinhood -> RE: Napoleon In.....? (wishlist for next title) (11/17/2007 9:11:18 PM)

This is enough Napoleon In....now we need a Hussar in Ancient Rome game. ;)

jim pfleck -> RE: Napoleon In.....? (wishlist for next title) (11/18/2007 1:14:38 AM)

If it stays Napoleonic, I would say Spain is a perfect fit for the engine. but if it is anthing
(1) Spain 1808-1814
(2) 1814-another good fit for the engine
(3) 7 years war

vanmi -> RE: Napoleon In.....? (wishlist for next title) (11/19/2007 9:40:16 AM)

1 - Austerlitz (Danube)
2 - Russia (1812)
3 - Iena (1806)
4 - Marengo (1800)

jkBluesman -> RE: Napoleon In.....? (wishlist for next title) (11/19/2007 10:51:37 AM)

As much as I would like to see Spain - there was not much Napoleon in Spain! So I vote for Napoleon in Austria - the uprising of 1809.

Maulet -> RE: Napoleon In.....? (wishlist for next title) (11/26/2007 1:34:46 PM)

Spain or the Danube (Austerlitz and Wagram)

aitorful -> RE: Napoleon In.....? (wishlist for next title) (11/26/2007 3:02:21 PM)

Germany 1813, Napoleon agains the world, the battle of Leipzig

Angiel -> RE: Napoleon In.....? (wishlist for next title) (11/26/2007 11:09:49 PM)

1- Russia (1812)
2 - Austerlitz (Danube)

I would go for a slightly expanded version of this, ie "Napoleon at Bay: 1813-1814" (inspired by the old Kevin Zucker boardgame). An almost hopeless situation for the French, but Napoleon was brilliant, and it would be a really interesting challenge for the French.

harley9699 -> RE: Napoleon In.....? (wishlist for next title) (1/24/2008 12:41:45 AM)

Napoleon-Russia
Napoleon-Danube
Napoleon-Spain

Grell -> RE: Napoleon In.....? (wishlist for next title) (2/2/2008 9:10:32 PM)

Austerlitz
Friedland
Eylau

Regards,

Grell

Since most of the programed routines are in place, would it be a stretch to include a Seven Years War addition? Realizing of course that the graphics would have to be re-worked somewhat.

And, if the above is possible and the developer has the manpower to do this, perhaps other eras could be developed.

HussarGames -> RE: Napoleon In.....? (wishlist for next title) (6/10/2008 2:36:01 PM)

We are now at work on our next game. Release date between Fall 2008 and Spring 2009 (this is guaranteed unless something really unexpected happens). Cannot say more at the moment.

aitorful -> RE: Napoleon In.....? (wishlist for next title) (8/23/2008 9:08:17 AM)

News about new game?

HussarGames -> RE: Napoleon In.....? (wishlist for next title) (11/19/2008 4:16:18 PM)

The game is Armies of Hunyadi sponsored by the Hungarian Ministry of Education.
Unfortunately the contract has been made in a great rush and there is no clause for publishing other language versions - meaning we DO NOT have the rights to publish the game.

The game is still prerelease and we will try to work out an arrangement for an English language version after the release.

More info on the game:
It is the wars of Hungary vs. the Ottoman empire from 1442 to 1456.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Hunyadi

English title (if there will be one) will be different (the above is the direct translation of Hungarian title "Hunyadi hadai").

Currently we are not working on anything else except for patches for both FL and NII - these should come soon, definitely this year. As for the future - there is no decision yet.
