I am *trying again* to play and like PureSim, and am playing the 1.70 version of the game with the two hot updates.

I'm into my first offseason, and am seeing a very welcome addition -- a listing of stats for each free agent player from the preceding year. That seems very useful. Except it's riddled with errors -- players showing no stats at all who played a full season the year before, some guys showing minor league stats when they split their season between ML and AAA, and a variety of other misleading things.

I did an admittedly quick search at these forums, and came away with nothing. Not sure what terms to search for, really.



Anyhow... known issue? Irresolvable? This can't possibly be the first time it's been raised... *shurg*

Which screen are you looking at specifically? Is it the free agent bidding process?

Yes, the FA bidding process.  I see a variety of errors there -- basically sorting by the "last year's stats column" is completely useless, as quite a lot of players who were very productive in the major leaguyes the prior season have either no stats at all listed, or have some other errant stat set shown.

Ideally, I'd like to be able to look at (and sort by) last year's stats as the obvious starting point for reviewing the FA class.  Doesn't seem viable in this game.
