I was wondering if there is some problem with Hotmail over across the pond (Europe). Both my opponents are over that way and both complained about problems with their Hotmail and I haven't had a turn in over 2 days for one and more than 24 hours for the other.

I am having problems with my hotmail.co.uk account - i can receive OK but any sent emails with attachments fail (server busy or unavailable).
I use my other email address (from ISP) to send and that is working OK

I've had a lot of problems e-mailing to Hotmail addresses recently.  Microsoft has installed hyperactive spam filters that generate a lot of false positives.  Since a lot of spammers were abusing Hotmail accounts in the past, Microsoft probably has some hyperactive outgoing filters too.

I've been using hotmail for years, currently in Sth Korea, and there is a huge lag happening. Outgoing files are given the "Server busy" error, and incoming files are arriving hours or days later ... there is a lot of flaming going on against Microsoft on the web, "Hotmail live ... hotmail Dead!"...

Have decided to change email accounts for the time being.
