Okay, so I threw the rosters into the game, ran a full sim last night and got a prediction from Maximum Football as to who will win Tomorrow's Grey Cup. And the winner is... Saskatchewan 22 - Winnipeg 19 Kerry Joseph showed why he's considered one of the top quarterbacks in the game, winning Most Outstanding Player with a 428 yard passing performance. It took him most of the first quarter to get on-track, as he only completed one of his first 5 passes, but near the end of the quarter, Joseph led the Roughriders on a 7 play drive that culminated in a 5 yd TD to Andy Fantuz. In the second quarter, Jospeh hit Corey Grant for a 101 yd Touchdown that went a long way to breaking the backs of the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. Grant won Most Outstanding Canadian for his 10-catch, 201 yard performance. Winnipeg's Ryan Dinwiddie, starting in place of injured first-string Quarterback Kevin Glenn, hoisted a Grey Cup record 70 passes in the loss, never getting truly on track with his receivers. Also not clicking on full cylinders was Winnipeg's standout and danger running back Charles Roberts, who tallied a rather pedestrian 79 yards on 16 carries. Stats leaders for the Championship game: Passing: WPG Ryan Dinwiddie QB 39/70, 503 yds, 1 TD 0 INT SSK Kerry Joseph QB 31/47, 428 yds, 2 TD 1 IINT Rushing: WPG Charles Roberts RB 16 carries for 79 yards SSK Wes Cates RB 20 carries for 76 yards Receiving: WPG Jamie Stoddard WR 7 catches for 101 yards SSK Corey Grant WR 10 catches for 201 yards, 1TD Defense: WPG Kelley Malveaux DHB 7 tackles, 1 Interception SSK Reggie Hunt LB 6 tackles, 2 sacks Hey Dave, I hope this little gaze into to the crystal ball holds up.
