Loving ver 4.0 more and more. The artillery/infantry routines seem vastly improved so far. Oh and the damage codes are much better too, NOW when a turret gets damaged, it means something! I've got no less than 3 Panzers running around in the same scenerio acting as overmuscled MG platforms (because their main guns are kaput) one whine though....the Limited intel feature, it covers too much now. I have to say, the one thing i HATE about ver 4.0 was the elimination of the numerals designating the size of enemy units spotted in the game. It also makes those spoted inf units very hard to see on the monitor in the precense of some of the newer and more detailed terrain. I get a headache trying to see em. I tried turning the LI feature off to see if i could live without it but it was like returning to SP-II again. Hidden fire and the harder to spot and retain the spotting is also tied in with the feature and greatly impacts the game's challenge level. I dont suppose there's a poss of the next mini-patch either reversing this feature or seperating the spotting/hidden fire from this specific FOW feature. Unless one is using the reduced squads feature (which i dont right now given some of the bug problems listed that are related to it) i dont see what benefit hiding the # of men in an infantry unit does for FOW issues. All its done for me is give me a headache trying to pinpoint the target on the screen :/ P.S. ok WBW, i'm not sleeping in Prokhorovka yet BUT i am the proud owner of an authentic Soviet hill. Now its my hill....it only cost me an arm and a leg and quite a few Panzers. (stupid mines!!!!! > )

For folks like me with bad eyesight, Nikademus, the numbers were a big help. This is something perhaps we can talk over and negotiate. Its a good point and I am glad you brought it up. Prokhorovka, kind of like the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow If you took that massive hill complex of defenses, you have already done well. You should congratulate yourself. Mines! I hate mines. I hate it when their explosion makes me spill my coffee . And you never get used to them. They can really spoil your day. Wild Bill ------------------ In Arduis Fidelis Wild Bill Wilder Coordinator, Scenario Design Matrix Games

I'll beg! I'll grovel! I'll sell you an authentic Soviet hill. Complete with intact pakfront and all the scrap metal you can carry/lug/and tow. Gotta act fast though. There's some suspcious looking characters NE of my position, and they appear to be making adjustments to some tube things they've wheeled up
