I hereby undertake to produce a step-by-step click where I click guide to playing the first few turns of a country. I will get it up by early on the weekend.

Great, i look foward to reading your take on the setup phase.

Thank you Ralegh. I found some of the interface confusing, although I have largely worked my way through it. I can only imagine the confusion of someone who never played the boardgame.

Thanks, Raleigh. I'm still having a problem with the land combat rules, but a walk through like that would be awesome.

call me old fashioned, but shoudn't there be a tutorial either in the game or in the manual?

tgb -> RE: Learning Curve (12/7/2007 9:38:57 PM)

Actually that's pretty new-fangled. Back when I was a kid walking 20 miles to school in the snow and playing war games on my wood-burning Atari 800, rtfm before playing a game was the standard. And back then, the manual for a game like this would have been twice as big.

Your Atari ran on wood? Mine ran on wet woolen socks ... [:D]
