This is a bug that apparently never got squashed by Talonsoft and makes most scenarios with caves practically unplayable due to the game crashing. Any progress on finding out the problem and crushing this bug?

Yeah, this is a really annoying 8 year old bug.

I don't think it's been looked at yet.

cheers

Hopefully it will be a 1.04 or 1.05 fix.

There will be a temporary solution in 1.03, but it does not fix the problem.

I hoped this old bug will be fixed in the 1.03 patch ... but unfortunately it will not... and may be never ...[&:]

The cave movement is a very important tactical stuff for Japanese troops... it gives a very good advantage in defense to the japanese player and give a lot of surprise during the playing for both sides...

It was a strong point and new item for Rising Sun... So all Japanese scenarios involving cave movements are not really interresting if the bug is not fixed...

I really hope it will be fix .... one future day ![:)]

Thanks to all ... Jason ... and everybody on this forum !

Jason indicated on another thread that the cave bug was fixed in 1.03. That accomplishment deserves special attention and recognition.
