Could the corp counters be modified?

I think so, in the folder where the counters are you may find they are only images, just as the leaders counters have been modified so the others could be; just do not alter the shape (i think).

Each country has 3 Corp counters, Infantry, Guard and Cavalry, (Spain has an extra Partisan counter). You can only change the image from the national flag upwards. The only thing really to change is the Guard counter for each country as it has the same Infantry pic. Or did you have something specific in mind?

There may be a problem with this-- corps identities and strengths are not known to your opponent, just the counter with (I assume) the picture. So your opponent only knows that it is an infantry-type corps. If the guard corps had a distinct picture, then some of the fog of war will be lifted, and you would be less able to hide where your main army is. Just something to consider before the mod.
