AresMars -> Bidding Question (12/14/2007 10:55:06 PM)

I seem to rememeber from the EiA boardgame that when bidding for countries only allowed a number to be use ONCE.

ie. 7,6,5,4,3,2,1

and bids like this;

ie. 1,1,1,4,1,2,1 would not be allowed.

Is that enforced by the PBEM aid tool?

Yes it is enforced. You can bid over 7. There is a limit of 30 to keep outrageous bids somewhat under control.

Thank you for your comment JavaJoe, but I know that 30 is the max....My concern is the ability to bid the same number for two countries.

ie. (note: not in proper bid order...example only)

Player - JohnDoe

France    7
England   6
Russia     5
Austria    5
Prussia    4
Spain      3
Turkey    2

In this case the bid of "5" was used twice, which should be allowed (based on my memory) and this is what I am curious about.

Hope that clears it up for everyone..
