Actually there are no standard house rules, just ones that seem to be generally accepted and used to promote better balance of play.  There are no house rules that should be used unless the 2 people involved agree to them.

So, what are the generally accepted houserules to promote better balance of play and why did they improving the game?

Limiting PTs to 4 boats per TF and not allowed to be mixed with other types.  This lessened their impact on the game to prevent super weapon status.  Limiting Allied 4E bombers minimum altitude to again prevent the super weapon in the game.  The PT and B-17 were not super weapons in the real world, but can be in UV.  The Allies don't need help in winning the game.

Hi Thomas. I donīt like house rules personally. I like balls to the wall do your worst possible gameplay.

For me there is a balance in everything. Low level bombers hit more yes. But they also get their arse shot off by the flak too at low levels depending on the surface group makeup. Allied 4E bombers take forever to repair.

Just as an example.
