WJPalmer1 -> 1.01 Patch Still On-Track for the 9th? (1/7/2008 10:17:14 PM)

We've got a group that's been waiting for some time trying to decide whether to start a new PBEM game now or wait for the patch. We'll naturally want to wait if the patch is still set for Jan 9 or thereabouts, but many are eager to plunge ahead if it will be significantly longer. Any advice? [;)]

We're still trying but I could see that slipping since we still must test the install package. I'm hoping that we can get it done this week (Given nothing critical comes in).

Much appreciated, Marshall. Thanks for all your hard work!

Gogogo Marshall!

Take your time Marshal, this week or next week doesn't matter. Test it and take your time. [sm=sign0031.gif]

We're a little over 70 fixes and have shut her down for testing to make sure that I didn't break anything else (Which Richard already found a few things that I did break :-))

Very cool. 1.01 will be most welcome!

I'm sure one of the toughest choices lies in where to draw the line for the patch. With 70+ fixes no one can reasonably complain (although someone no doubt will) that it doesn't have substance! [;)]

dodod -> RE: 1.01 Patch Still On-Track for the 9th? (1/9/2008 4:56:18 PM)

is loaning corp political point gain/loss part of the 70 fixes?

Jimmer -> RE: 1.01 Patch Still On-Track for the 9th? (1/9/2008 5:06:39 PM)

I think that, if Matrix wants to document the list of fixes/changes, they will. In line with Murat's letter of a few days ago, we should probably let them do it with their own timing.

Also, it seems to me that Marshall has better things to do than document changes. So, unless Erik or someone else notices this question, it should probably go unanswered: Can we have a list of the fixes and changes? If someone from Matrix (OTHER than Marshall) can post this in the tech support forum, it might stop many other posts from even happening.

Actually; could someone post a list of ALL open items & what is scheduled for the patch?
(That way; we wont waste time re-reporting a known bug; but WILL continue to report new ones)

Marshall Ellis -> RE: 1.01 Patch Still On-Track for the 9th? (1/9/2008 10:53:09 PM)

I am trying to put together a list of release notes and will post them but I'm still building this right now.

Thanks for the patch!
