Saedor -> League Standings Screen Question (1/16/2008 1:39:31 PM)

Ok, dumb question...

What does the 'P' on the league standings screen stand for? It shows;

W = wins
L = losses
T = ties
P = ?
PF = points for
PA = points against

Bobolini -> RE: Ok, dumb question... (1/16/2008 3:53:11 PM)

I know in the CFL they use this as a point ranking system. THe NHL also does it as well as most International sports. You receive 2 points for a win, 1 for a tie, and 0 for a loss.

Bobolini is correct. Each Win gives you points in the standings.

Ok, that makes sense. Thanks :)

Is it 2pts for a win, 1pt for a tie?

Yes, 2 for a win, 1 for a tie, 0 for a loss.

If I'm not mistaken, can't that be changed, though? In the "Leagues" table?

So, you could make it 10 points for a win, 30 points for a loss, 15 points for a tie. I mean, you wouldn't, because then you get more points for a loss than a win, but I think you can change it.

Yea I think it's in the leagues table

I've never messed around with it

Yes the ConFL uses 3 points for a win 1 point for a tie
