AbsntMndedProf -> Moral Question: (10/8/2001 7:02:00 PM)

I remember when I played Napoleonic miniatures back in the late 70s and 80s, units were each assigned a moral factor. When a leader was attatched to a unit, he gave a boost to the moral rating of that unit. Also leaders within a certain distance of routed units could attempt to turn the units around and get them back into the fighting. Will such factors be involved in Napoleonic Wars? Thanks! Morale will be the key. Napoleon himself had the ability (Earlier in his career) to help boost his troops morale but even Napoleon could not overcome the morale losses while an army was starving and/or freezing to death. Napoleon's Egypt campaign was a good exmaple of a leader who could help with morale at first but even he eventually abandoned his entire force with their morale in shambles.
