If you look at the portrait of the Queen on the first printings of 1954 Canadian currency (everyone has some of those laying around don't they?) you can clearly see a Devils face. So many people saw and complained about this in the image that the Mint finally had to start withdrawing those bills from use and replacing them with a new version of the bill that had a different Queens portrait on it.

Or, for those basketball fans - the original University of Kentucky Wildcats logo:

Well, it sort of looks like a little box with coloured geometric shapes inside...[8|]

I could be wrong, but I think it is called an "x"

You can't see my pic? Comes out as an X? I see it fine... Bah!

Dazooz2 -> RE: Picture from Mars shows humanoid figure? (1/24/2008 6:43:16 AM)

Clearly it is a picture of a Tusken Raider.

I wish someone or something would just shoot it. Then we could find out what it really was.

From Solarviews.com:

The average recorded temperature on Mars is -63° C (-81° F) with a maximum temperature of 20° C (68° F) and a minimum of -140° C (-220° F).

I hope the humanoid has a nice coat for the cold nights and some tanning lotion for the days. The ultraviolet rays penetrating the thin Mars atmosphere are a killer, as are the cosmic rays; Mars does not have the same ozone layer or magnetic field protection that Earth has.

Global dust storms on Mars can lasts months, but perhaps that is a shovel in his hand. That is a good thing too, because he likely would have to eat rocks. No lander on Mars has detected even a trace of plant life.

Of course, it could be an alien from some other star system just checking things out for a forward base camp.

Ugh ! And that thing should be shot, then grilled and eaten.

It looks like a sausage.

I actually think there is life outside of earth.

Whatever. All of the newspapers in Sweden are like Fox...got it.

No, Hortlund... I'm not going to get drawn into another one of your screaming matches. I'm not with the SH crew...

Gee..

I stop in to see what's going on once in awhile and I see Term is still crying like a little girl about some of us. I don't see what some thread about a Wookie on Mars has to do with us old timers, but somehow you tried to make a poor derogatory connection. Get over it Terminus. Be a man.

Nah... it is the designer of Empire in Arms. Only someone from Mars could have thought out a game like that[;)]

Well for for sure there is life outside of earth. It(life) is on the space station in the form of humanoids called astronouts. Beyound that, ?????

Arctic Blast -> RE: Picture from Mars shows humanoid figure? (2/16/2008 12:03:57 PM)

Actually, now that I think about it, unless you're all underground dwellers, I think pretty much all of us humans qualify as life outside of earth. [:D]
