ASW aircraft patrol and randomly reach a point to drop sonobuoys. In the past they have dropped one sonobuoy at each drop. In HCE they drop one of each type carried. In real life, aircraft carry multiple types, but normally drop only one at a time and choose based on the tactical situation. The new logic causes the aircraft to quickly exhaust their sonobuoys. Since creating the logic to choose would be difficult, it would seem that a better alternative would be to drop one at each location as a random selection, or just use up one type and then go to another. If a more sophisticated method is desired, it could be possible to have another key (similar to "." ) that would allow the user to drop one of each type.

Hmmm ... is that why my Vikings run out of sonobouys so fast now?

Until some better solution can be found, all sonobuoy loadouts in the HCDB have been modified to use only a single type of sonobuoy at a time.
