another bug.

blockade box attack after garrison of port taken, but outgoing fleet got windguage.

I think this is not correct...and I believe it did it in another game posted in this forum. I don't have the file, as I just now realize this

1805, Apr France Evacuating port of Amsterdam
1805, Apr Sea Battle:Amsterdam Attacker:France Defender:Great Britain
1805, Apr France 2 Fleets
1805, Apr Great Britain, 4 fleets
1805, Apr R0 France die 6, perc 25%
1805, Apr R0 Great Britain Die 2(1), perc 10%
1805, Apr France Casualties, 4 Light Ships
1805, Apr great Britain Casualties, 5 light ships
1805, Apr France Wins Naval Battle!
1805, Apr France Wins Battle of Amsterdam

Mind you it lists upside down so I reversed it.

What we see here is that France was the attacker.

Also we see that France rolled a natural 6 and GB rolled a natural 1 modified to a 2.

France had no modifiers. France had 18 ships in Holland Fleets 13 heavy and 5 light. That is 18 X 25% = 4.5 casualties = 5.

GB had 22 Hvy (20 in one fleet 2 in another) and 16 Lt Ships 38 X 10% = 3.8 casualties = 4 .

The error is that GB being the blockader should have had Wind gauge but it appears that actually no one did and casualties were resolved simultaneously.

Holland would have still broken out due to ties going to attacker but GB would have lost one less ship.

We are a couple months past this event and I opened a bug about Port Wind gauge two days ago.

Was able to confirm this bug and just put it on the list (#102- N10)

Thanks again

monadman, is breakout a naval battle after forcing out by taking garrison or interception per the game programming?
