These scenarios are ideal for H2H encounters

Hi Andrew or anyone else, could you give me a step by step process for getting these mods etc onto my COIIII game please. I just haven't got the technical know-how obviously, as i've failed miserably!
kind regards
ted

MODS

1. Download mod
2. Run the exe (eg. FinmodpluginforCoI.exe) which will install the mod to your \plugins folder
3. Run ModSwap from Command Center
4. Install the Mod
5. Close ModSwap
6. Play CoI with the new mod

MAPS

Download and unzip to your \maps folder

SCENARIOS

Download and unzip to your \Games\Battles folder

They will be available to play under custom scenarios

please ask any questions if you get stuck.

hi andrew,
thanks for the reply. i've managed to download the two West Front map packs and both West Front mods (wf v10 and Ardennes etc). i have the two mods in my plug-ins folder but it won't let me install WF saying that it couldn't install the file cc3 into the destination c:program files/close combat/close combat III\installation aborted. could you advise?[&o]

Teddy

It looks like it is a special VISTA issue.

Navigate to c:\program files\Close Combat\CCModSwap.exe

right click on CCModSwap.exe and choose properties

Choose the compatibility Tab

Run in win98 compatibility mode

and check "Run as Administrator"

It should work fine now.
