I would recommend asking over at the Blitz.

http://www.theblitz.org - Look in the Campaign Series Forum.

A bunch of guys whom have been battling with the Campaign Series for years and can offer sound advice.

Hi Speedy,

Yes, please look at The Blitz.  I joined several years ago and have made many friends.

Please post questions & I am sure you will receive a reply.

You can search for games under the scenario depot & find games that are well suited for H2H play.

Good hunting!

Hey there,

My friend and I just started PBEM too and so far we found a great starter scenario.  The Devil's Graveyard.  It is in North Africa so you have good lines of site, fairly small forces with an emphasis on AC and tanks.  It is a lot of fun to play and seems pretty much even.

You can also look though the Scenario Spreadsheet that I have put together here in this forum.  I will try to give that thread a bump.

Thanks,
Duncan

Hi Speedy,

Just read in the WitP forum that you and fabertong just concluded your game (congrats!)

I read in the last few pages of your AAR that you and he will are gonna play some CS until WitP:AE comes out...

I'd suggest you guys play one of the huge, size-10 scenarios...Showdown at Borisov comes immediately to mind.

And you simply must do an AAR....[sm=00000280.gif]

Many thanks[8D]

Would you pay me(us) for the AAR?[;)][:'(]

Some of the scenarios that are really well balanced and enjoyable, IMO, are:

EF - Surprise for 17th Panzer
Tank Graveyard at Minsk
Storm 555
Holding the Bear at Demyansk
Playing with the Death's Heads
The Battle Is Joined
Counterstroke at Ilovaysk
Checking the Blitzkrieg

WF - First clash at Carpiquet
Still Full of Fight
Kucher's Ragtag Circus
When the Big Cats Come to Play
Gabr Saleh
Task Force Lovelady
A Small Bridge
Heavy Metal Thunder
Kidney Ridge

RS - Hurricane on Biak
Breakout at Pemienta
The Battering Ram
On Hallowed Soil
Struugle for Shoestring

I have been a member of Blitz and Frontline for a long time. I have played these scenarios at least once and found them to be enjoyable. There are others that are enjoyable but not well balanced.

Thanks for this Rustbelt[:)]

It has worked well for me that after playing a scenario, my opponent and I flip sides and play it again! That way all of them are good for email! Also it balances any problems out for both sides![8D]
