R_of_Hentzau -> Stupid question from a novice (2/21/2008 10:19:26 AM)

I have been attempting to play Talonsoft's East Front game on my Vista laptop.
Seems to play really well and I enjoy it greatly. I have been lurking around the forum and considering getting the new Matrix download.

The big question I have (which may sound daft), is do tanks and anti tank guns fire at armoured vehichles?

The copy I have only allows close assault, rendering anti tank guns to the role of anti personal weapons.

It is the only thing that really pisses me off about the game.

so, how does the anti tank firing work in the matrix version??

Thanks
Bryan

Talonsoft version of the games and Vista leave the Vista user without the ability of any hard target firing.

The Matrix version corrects this.

I have the same problem, I had Rising Sun loaded on my Vista before I got Campaign Series did this corrupt my Campaign Series? I noticed someone else had this problem and a patch was recommended, I tried this but still did not work (Maybe I didn't intstall the patch properly). Any Ideas?

Using the UPDATE button on the Main Menu should update you to the 1.02 UPDATE. I believe it was 1.01 that corrected the Vista problem.

In addition, there is a temporary patch that you can add.

The 1.03 UPDATE is just around the corner.
