Hey gang, returned from places only the U.S. Department of Defense knows about (allegedly).

What is the state of the art on WiTP now? (I have a new computer and need to re-install, patch, add art, etc).

I looked around, but hard to determine what direction to take.

Suggestions on what art to upload?

I recommend chs and the 1.806 patch. that or big b

Get patched to 1.806, for sure.  All you'll need is the base install, the 1.804 comprehensive patch, and the 1.806 patch on top of that.  After you get there, I'd recommend CHS with Andrew Brown's extended map, until AE is released later this year.

Thanks -- sounds easier than expected....couple of other games I'm catching up on are so mod-happy I've already thrown in the towel.

Okay, CAP is up and we're "engaging the enemy more closely!"

Gang: Yes, so already a month + went by and I still haven't gotten to get back into a game.

So last night I'm trying to load up AB's maps, and CHS, etc.

I think I did okay.....but when I try to load a scenario, it does not show CHS scenarios on the list.

I loaded Mr. Sauercracker's 2.06 scenario, .....but no luck.

Are loaded scenarios the 'B' scenarios on the list?

Sorry for the newbie questions -- used to play the stock game and not used to mucking around yet.

Did you put the scenario file in the SCEN folder?  Or did you scroll down to Scenario numbers 156-160? 

It took me a bit to be able to get CHS installed.  My failing was getting the map to work the first time.  Then I misfiled the artwork.
