I'm toying with WaW v30a1 (the mod) and I know it's supposed to be played vs. humans, but there are some points which might make for a better AI game, I think: No. 155) The AI is still going for armor-heavy units. 30% when in a defensive mood, 50% when attacking. Since supply costs of armor are rather insane in the mod (80 supply/turn versus 10 in the default game, IIRC, 160 for Medium, 240 for Heavy tanks), this could cripple the AI because it will build a lot of tanks it cannot support in the long run. No. 161) Front Coverage is at default, i.e. the AI tries to cover 100% of the front. Maybe that's possible for the West in France, but the Russians can't ever hope to cover even half of that. Neither can the German AI, if you're playing Allies. If I'm not mistaken, a higher Front Coverage% this will cause the AI to build a lot of weaker units, which are easily destroyed. No. 223) Hex radius for Air Ops is still at 10, although aircraft range has been lowered to 5.
